A free address on coritan.gg
Every account can have one mailbox of its own, such as alex@coritan.gg.
- Sign up, or open webmail. Take the address when you create your account, or sign in on coritan.com and claim it in webmail.
- Choose a name. The name is 3–40 characters of letters, digits, dots, dashes and underscores. Webmail checks it as you type.
- Read and send. Your mail arrives at once. A mail app can read it over IMAP, and can send from it once the mailbox has earned that.
Limits of the free mailbox
A new free mailbox sends less at first, and we check what leaves it.

Coritan runs the mail platform: mailboxes, queues, authentication (SPF, DKIM and DMARC), abuse controls and sending limits. Dedicated IP plans send directly from Coritan's own addresses. Shared sending uses a delivery partner while Coritan builds out its own shared sending pool.

Frequently asked questions
Is the coritan.gg address really free?
Yes. Every Coritan account can have one mailbox on coritan.gg at no charge, with 5 GB of storage by default. It needs no domain of your own.
Why is a new free mailbox limited in what it sends?
Free mailboxes are a target for spam, so a new one earns its sending. In its first 7 days it can send to up to 10 people in one message, 20 in a clock hour and 50 in 24 hours. After that the limits are 50, 100 and 300. For its first 14 days it sends from webmail only, and each message waits 5 minutes before it goes, so you can undo it.
Can I read my mail in a mail app?
Yes. Any mail app that uses IMAP and SMTP can sign in with the mailbox’s address and password, and the same mail shows in the app and in webmail. We do not offer POP3.
Can I share a mailbox with someone?
You can share a mailbox with people who have a Coritan account, to read only or to read and send from. The person you share with accepts an invitation first. Once the account plans are open, sharing a mailbox on Coritan’s own mail comes with the Business plan and above.
Can I use webmail for a mailbox at another provider?
No. Webmail opens only mailboxes that Coritan hosts. It can import the mail from another provider into one of them.
