What DNS hosting includes

Every zone gets these on every plan. Query statistics go back 24 hours on Free, and 30 days on Pro and above.

• Every common record type. A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV, NS, CAA, PTR, SVCB, HTTPS and DS records, each checked before we save it. Each record has a TTL (how long resolvers may keep it) from 60 seconds to 1 day.
• DNSSEC signing. We sign every zone from the moment you add it. Resolvers check the signatures once you add the zone’s DS record at the domain’s registrar. For a domain you registered with us, ask our support team.
• Load balancing. Answer a name with the servers in your pools that pass their health checks, steer visitors by where they are, and fall back to another pool when one is down.
• Proxied records. Turn on the proxy for an A or AAAA record, and visitors reach that name through Edge Proxy, with its firewall and a free certificate. Edge Proxy
• Zone files in and out. Copy records in from a standard zone file when you move a domain here, or download a zone’s records as one.
• Query statistics. See how many queries each zone answered, by hour and by response code. The Free plan keeps the last 24 hours of query history, and Pro and above keep 30 days.

How it works

1. Add your domain. Add a domain you own to our DNS, or register a new one here.
2. Set the nameservers. At your registrar, point the domain at our nameservers. A domain you register here starts on them.
3. Manage the records. Add records on the domain’s DNS tab or through the API. Our nameservers answer with each change as soon as you save it.
