Move your email to Coritan
Copy your mail into Coritan mailboxes from Gmail, Microsoft 365, any server that offers IMAP, a mail file or a whole cPanel account, and keep your folders and dates.
An import copies mail into a mailbox on our side, so it carries on after you close the page. Messages keep their folders, their read and flagged state and their dates, and nothing changes on the old server.

What you can import from
- Gmail and Microsoft 365. Sign in on the provider’s own page, and we copy the mailbox without a password. Microsoft 365 needs this sign-in, because it no longer accepts passwords over IMAP. Move mail in
- Any server that offers IMAP. Give us the old mailbox’s address and its password or app password. We try the password first, so a wrong one shows at once. Move mail in
- A mail file. Upload an mbox file, a single message, a zip or tar of mail files, or a cPanel backup. Import from a file
- A whole cPanel account. Bring every email account at once. Each one becomes a mailbox with a new password, with its mail, its forwarders to mailboxes that move and the domain’s default address as a catch-all. Move every mailbox from a cPanel host
How to move
- Add your domain and a mailbox. Order Mail Hosting, add your domain and create the mailbox the mail should go into. Read the guide
- Bring the mail in. On the Mailboxes tab, open the mailbox’s menu and choose Bring mail in. Follow the import on the same tab. Read the guide
- Point your domain at us. When the mail is in, change your domain’s mail records so new mail arrives here. Read the guide
What moves by hand
- Forwarders to addresses outside the service, and autoresponders, are not copied. Set them up again in webmail.
- The old mailbox needs IMAP turned on. Many providers want an app password made in their own settings.
- An import pauses when the new mailbox is full, so give it room first.

Frequently asked questions
Does my old provider lose my mail?
No. An import copies the mail and changes nothing on the other server.
Which providers can I import from?
Gmail and Microsoft 365 by signing in, any server that offers IMAP with an address and a password, mail files in mbox, eml, zip or tar form, and a cPanel backup.
Can I move a whole cPanel account at once?
Yes. We check the plan’s room and the old server first, then make a mailbox for each email account, with a new password, its mail and its forwarders to mailboxes that move.
