Browse the software your customers can install
See the games and applications your customers can install on their servers, the versions each one offers and what a new server starts with.
In the dashboard
The Software section of the Products tab lists what your customers can install on the game and app servers they order from you: our catalogue, and any entries your brand adds. For each entry it shows the versions on offer today, the runtime each version runs on and what a new server starts with. It is there to answer customers' questions and to check an entry before you sell it. Nothing on it changes the catalogue.
Before you begin
Section titled Before you beginEvery member can read the catalogue. The customer picks the software when they order a product linked to Container Apps, so set up that product first.
Find software
Section titled Find software- In the dashboard, open the organization, then Products, then Software.
- Type in Search software to match a name, a slug or a description, or choose a Category. The search and the category stay in the page's address, and Clear filters shows every entry again.
- Select an entry to open it.
The list shows each entry with its icon, its Category, whether the customer picks one of its Versions or it has One build, where it comes From (Our catalogue or Your brand) and its Runtime.
Read an entry
Section titled Read an entry- Versions
- Each version the customer can pick, newest first, with the date it was Released, the Game versions it runs, when it names more than its own, and the Runtime it needs. Default marks the version a new server gets. Tick Show unsupported versions or Show snapshots to list those too; both stay in the page's address.
- Runtime versions
- For software with one build, the runtime versions the customer chooses from instead.
- Defaults
- What a new server starts with: its Version, its Runtime, the Version setting that holds the version, and the Source the versions come from.
- Default settings
- The startup settings a new server gets.
- Runtimes
- The images the software can run on.
An entry your brand added has a Your brand badge beside its category. An entry reads its versions live from its source, so it can take a moment to open the first time. All software takes you back to the list with your search and category as you left them.
Troubleshooting
Section titled Troubleshooting- "Software not found"
- The entry left the catalogue, or the link is out of date. Go back to All software and search for it.
- "No versions yet"
- The entry's source listed no versions just now. Try again later.

One entry, ours or your organization's own: its versions (or runtime_versions for one build), defaults, default_variables and runtimes, and org_id as in the list. supported_only (true by default) and include_snapshots choose which versions to list. An entry another organization added answers 404. |
