Coritan takes a share of the money your customers pay your organization, the platform cut, at a rate set by each month's revenue. It also charges the wholesale price of the hosting your customers' services run on. The Platform cut page of Billing shows where this month stands, what the next payout would hold if it were made today, and the rate each closed month paid.

You need the owner, admin or billing role.

  1. In the dashboard, open the organization, then Billing, then Platform cut.
  2. The four figures at the top show:
    • Revenue in the month: your store sales and your hosting money so far this month, together.
    • Rate now: the rate that revenue pays, and the band it falls in.
    • Cut so far: what the cut would come to if the month ended now.
    • Wholesale discount: how far below Coritan's list price the hosting you resell is charged.

Every figure on the page is in US dollars, converted from the currencies your customers paid in.

The rate is set by the month's whole revenue, store sales and hosting together, and applies to all of it, so a month that crosses into a cheaper band pays the lower rate on everything it took. The Rates card lists the bands and marks the one this month is in with This month. Under it, a line says how much more revenue this month would take every sale to the next band's rate.

The Next payout card shows what the payout for the window since your last one would hold if it were made today:

  • Collected: what Coritan's payment gateways took for your organization, less refunds and chargebacks.
  • Platform cut and Wholesale: what comes off it.
  • Card fees: None deducted. A payout deducts no card fees; the gateways' fees are on your statements, for your records.
  • Paid out: what would be sent to you.
  • Paid to: where it goes, the payout method and its account masked, such as a PayPal address shown as c•••@example.com. Coritan sets it for you: Ask support to change it opens a ticket. While none is set, Coritan pays by hand and the row says Ask support to set it.

Each month in the window is a row, with its Revenue, its Rate, the Hosting money it took, its Cut and its Wholesale. A rate marked "So far" belongs to a month that has not closed. A month whose hosting money came to nothing, or less once refunds came off, reads No cut with a cut of $0.00, here and under Closed months: no rate was applied to it. Money your own PayNow store took, invoices settled from wallet credit and invoices marked paid are not in the payout, and a line under the figures says how much of each there was.

When the money collected does not cover the cut and the wholesale, for example because your customers paid your own PayNow store, a warning says that the difference would be invoiced to your Coritan account (the owner's, when you are not the owner), and the card shows it as Invoiced to the owner. When the last payout has already settled everything before this month, the card says there is nothing waiting to be paid out: this month's money is paid out once the month is over. When no money came in over the window and nothing was charged, it says there is nothing to pay out.

The Closed months card lists the last twelve months that have closed, newest first: the Revenue each one reached, split into Store and Hosting, the Rate it paid and the Cut it came to, and when it Closed. A month closes once it is over, at the rate its whole revenue reached.

An organization Coritan runs pays no platform cut and no wholesale price. Its page says No platform cut, shows the month's revenue with its store sales and hosting, and leaves out the rates and the cut.

The rate is higher than the revenue suggests
The revenue is in US dollars, after refunds and chargebacks, and store sales count less tax. A month whose refunds outweighed its charges carries the difference into the next one.
The next payout says Coritan could not work it out
The preview failed for a moment. Reload the page. The figures for this month and the closed months do not depend on it.
