The locations Coritan runs services in, what each data centre page lists, and how to pick a location when you order.

Two lists describe where Coritan runs. The public Data Center Facilities page describes the buildings, and the Location section of an order page lists the locations you can order a service in right now.

Important

The order page is the list to go by. The facility pages and the order pages come from different sources, so a place can be on one and not on the other. To ask about a facility no order page offers, select Request Information on its page, which opens the contact page (Support lists the ways to reach sales).

The Data Center Facilities page groups its facilities by region. Select a card to open the facility's page.

What a facility page lists

Section titled What a facility page lists

The header: The facility's code and classification, such as LON2 and Tier III, its name and its street address. All Data Centers goes back to the list.
Overview: A description of the facility and what it is known for.
Connectivity: The networks, internet exchanges and cloud connections in the building.
Facility Features: Power, cooling, security and on-site staff.
Facility Specifications: Operator, Location, Classification (the tier), Total Space and Power.
Certifications: The facility's certifications, such as ISO 27001 and PCI DSS.
Request Information: Opens the contact page, to ask the sales team about the facility or arrange a visit.

The figures on these pages describe the building and its operator. They do not say which Coritan products run there.

Choose a location when you order

Section titled Choose a location when you order

In the Location section of the order page, choose a data centre under Data centres. Each location shows its airport code, such as FRA, its country and its local time. Order a service walks through the whole page.
Choose the data centre closest to the people who will use the service. The address the service gets is local to that location's region.
A location marked Sold out has no room for the plan you chose. Room differs by plan, so a different size or hardware tier may still fit.
A floating IP comes from a pool in one region. Choose a pool in the region where the instance or server you attach it to runs (IP pools and regions).

With the API

GET /locations lists the active locations. It needs no access token.

code: The location's airport code in lower case. An order names its location with this code.
country_code: The two-letter country code, such as DE.
timezone: The location's time zone, which the order page uses for its local time.
lb_region_code: The load balancing region the location is in (Region codes).

GET /locations/availability says which locations have room for a size, as Order a service describes.
