# Fix a page that says JavaScript is turned off

> Turn JavaScript back on for coritan.com when a page shows a JavaScript notice, needs JavaScript, or stays blank, and see what you can still read without it.

Source: https://www.coritan.com/docs/support/javascript-is-turned-off/

coritan.com runs in your browser and needs JavaScript to sign you in, take an order and load your account. With JavaScript off, a public page still shows its text and a footer of links, and a page that needs JavaScript says so. This guide is for the notices you may see, and what to change.

## A notice says JavaScript is turned off

A band under the header says `JavaScript is turned off` and `You are reading the simple version of this page.` You can read the page and follow its links. Signing in and ordering do not work.

Your browser, or an extension that blocks scripts, has JavaScript off for this site. Turn it on for `www.coritan.com`, then reload the page:

1. Open your browser's site settings for `www.coritan.com`, or your script blocker's menu.
2. Allow JavaScript for the site.
3. Reload the page.

The footer at the bottom of the page links to our products, pricing, status page, documentation and legal pages, so you can find your way around while JavaScript is off.

## A page says it needs JavaScript

The notice reads `This page needs JavaScript`. Sign-in, sign-up and every page of the dashboard load your account in your browser, so they cannot work without it. Turn JavaScript on for `www.coritan.com` as above, then reload the page.

## The page stays blank, or says something blocked the site from starting

If you see `Something blocked the site from starting. Check your connection, disable content blockers for this site, then try again.`, JavaScript is on but the page's scripts did not load or did not run. Common causes are a content blocker that blocks our scripts, a network that drops them, or a connection that failed part way through.

1. Turn off content blockers for `www.coritan.com`.
2. Check your connection, then select **Retry**.
3. If it still fails, try a private window with your extensions off. If it works there, an extension is the cause.
4. If it fails everywhere, [contact the sales team](https://www.coritan.com/contact) or email [support@coritan.com](mailto:support@coritan.com) and say which browser you use and what the page shows.
