# Support

> How to reach Coritan for help with a service, for a quote from sales, or during an attack on your service.

Source: https://www.coritan.com/docs/support/

In the dashboard:

- /contact: https://www.coritan.com/contact

Coritan's team helps with the services on your account, your invoices and the account itself. The sales team prices the products you cannot order in the dashboard. Support costs nothing, whatever services you have.

## Choose where to ask

| What you need | Where to ask |
| --- | --- |
| Help with a service, an invoice or your account | A conversation on the dashboard's **Support** page |
| Help with an attack on your service right now | A conversation with Critical priority, and a phone call |
| A quote for bare metal, colocation or IP transit | [sales@coritan.com](mailto:sales@coritan.com) or [+1 (302) 606-0504](tel:+13026060504) |
| To report abuse from an address or a service on Coritan | [abuse@coritan.com](mailto:abuse@coritan.com) |
| An answer to a legal or privacy question | [legal@coritan.com](mailto:legal@coritan.com) or [privacy@coritan.com](mailto:privacy@coritan.com) |

## Get help with a service you have

Start a conversation in the dashboard: select **Support** in the [dashboard](https://www.coritan.com/dashboard/support) sidebar, then **New conversation…**. The **Open a ticket** button on the dashboard's overview opens the same form. The team replies in the conversation, and we email you the replies you have not read on the page. [Contact support from the dashboard](/docs/support/conversations/) walks through it, from attaching files to rating the answer.

If you cannot sign in, email [support@coritan.com](mailto:support@coritan.com) and say which account it is.

## What to include

Put these in your first message:

- The service it is about. In the dashboard, choose it under **About a service**. In an email, give its name, its address or its service ID.
- What happened, what you expected, and anything you have already tried.
- Any error message exactly as it appears, and when you saw it.
- For a problem you can repeat, the steps that cause it.

Screenshots and logs help too: attach them once the conversation is open. Leave out passwords, recovery codes and card numbers.

## During an attack

DDoS Shield filters the traffic to your floating IPs at our points of presence ([How DDoS Shield works](/docs/ddos-shield/how-ddos-shield-works/)). Traffic to a server's shared address does not pass through it ([How the Coritan network works](/docs/platform/network/#traffic-to-a-shared-address)).

When an attack is taking a service down:

1. Start a conversation with **Priority** set to Critical, and choose the service under **About a service**. Give the address under attack and the time the attack started.
2. Call [+1 (302) 606-0504](tel:+13026060504), the number on the contact page and the attack page.

The form on the [attack page](https://www.coritan.com/under-attack) does not send your request: **Request Emergency Mitigation** shows `We have received your request`, but nothing reaches the team. [Get help during an attack](/docs/ddos-shield/under-attack/) has more on what to do.

## Reach sales and the other teams

The [contact page](https://www.coritan.com/contact) lists these addresses under **Department Contacts**, and the phone number +1 (302) 606-0504:

| Department | Address |
| --- | --- |
| General Enquiries | [info@coritan.com](mailto:info@coritan.com) |
| Sales | [sales@coritan.com](mailto:sales@coritan.com) |
| Technical Support | [support@coritan.com](mailto:support@coritan.com) |
| Network Operations | [noc@coritan.com](mailto:noc@coritan.com) |
| Abuse Reports | [abuse@coritan.com](mailto:abuse@coritan.com) |
| Legal | [legal@coritan.com](mailto:legal@coritan.com) |
| Privacy | [privacy@coritan.com](mailto:privacy@coritan.com) |

> [!IMPORTANT]
> The enquiry form on the contact page does not send anything. **Submit Enquiry** shows a thank-you message, but your enquiry does not reach the team. Email [sales@coritan.com](mailto:sales@coritan.com) instead, as [Bare metal, colocation and IP transit](/docs/platform/sales-led-products/) describes.

## Limits

- A conversation belongs to the account that started it. People you share a server with cannot read your conversations.
- If you bought a service from an organization's storefront, ask that organization for help. Its own team answers its customers.
