# Choose what to do first

> Pick a goal on the page a new account opens on, and set up the email or storage your plan includes in one step.

Once [account plans open on your account](/docs/billing/account-plans/#plans-open-in-stages), a new account opens on **What do you want to do first?** after sign-up. Each goal on the page opens the page that sets it up. Email and storage, which your plan includes at no charge, open a dialog that sets them up in one step. You can come back to the page at any time at [coritan.com/dashboard/welcome](https://www.coritan.com/dashboard/welcome).

## Before you begin

- You have [created an account](/docs/get-started/create-an-account/) with your own email address. A sign-up with a new `@coritan.gg` mailbox opens webmail instead, and a sign-up that started from another page, such as an order, goes back to that page.
- Account plans are open on your account. Without them, the page sends you to the dashboard's overview.

## Choose a goal

Select the goal that matches what you want to do:

**A game server**
: Opens the order page for Container Apps ([Order a server](/docs/managed-containers/order-a-server/)).

**A website**
: Opens **Put your website online**, which says the site needs a server or hosting and offers two choices: **Build a new site**, the Container Apps order with WordPress chosen, or **Use a site I already have**, the **Add a website** dialog on **Websites** ([Put a website online](/docs/get-started/put-a-website-online/)).

**Email for my domain**
: Opens the dialog that sets up the Mail Hosting your plan includes ([Set up the email your plan includes](#set-up-the-email-your-plan-includes)).

**An app or a database**
: Opens the order page for Container Apps ([Run an app or a database](/docs/get-started/run-an-app-or-a-database/)).

**A cloud server**
: Opens the order page for Cloud Compute ([Get a cloud server](/docs/get-started/get-a-cloud-server/)).

**Storage for files and backups**
: Opens the dialog that creates the Object Storage your plan includes ([Create the storage your plan includes](#create-the-storage-your-plan-includes)).

**My own hosting brand**
: Opens the Organizations area, where you start a brand of your own ([Start your own hosting brand](/docs/get-started/start-a-hosting-brand/)).

The three goals your plan includes have the **Included in your plan** badge. To come back to the list after you open a goal, use your browser's back button. To leave without choosing, select **Skip to Home**.

## Set up the email your plan includes

1. Select **Email for my domain**. The **Set up free email** dialog opens and lists what your plan gives.
2. Optionally, enter your domain in **Domain**, such as `example.com`. You can add it later.
3. Complete the verification check, if the dialog shows one.
4. Select **Set up free email**.

We set up the Mail Hosting service and open it ([Set up the email your plan includes](/docs/mail/order-a-mail-service/#set-up-the-email-your-plan-includes)). Next, [add your domain](/docs/mail/mail-hosting/add-a-domain/) and [create mailboxes](/docs/mail/mail-hosting/mailboxes/).

## Create the storage your plan includes

1. Select **Storage for files and backups**. The **Create free storage** dialog opens.
2. Under **Region**, choose where your files live.
3. Optionally, type a name in **First bucket**, such as `assets`, to create a bucket straight away.
4. Complete the verification check, if the dialog shows one.
5. Select **Create free storage**.

We set up the Object Storage service and open its **Overview** tab ([Create the storage your plan includes](/docs/object-storage/order-object-storage/#create-the-storage-your-plan-includes)). Next, [create an access key](/docs/object-storage/access-keys/) and [connect an S3 client](/docs/object-storage/connect-an-s3-client/).

## Result

The page for your goal opens, or the new service. Home keeps the first steps in its **Get started** card: **Add a website**, **Set up email**, **Create storage**, **Order a server**, **Turn on two-factor sign-in** and **Invite a teammate**. Each step is ticked once the account has it, and a step still to do opens its page. The card's close button, **Hide these steps**, hides it in that browser ([Home](/docs/get-started/dashboard/#home)).

## Troubleshooting

The page sends you to the overview
: Account plans are not open on your account yet, so there is no goal picker. Order what you need from **Order service** ([Order a service](/docs/get-started/order-a-service/)).

**Could not set up the email** or **Could not create the storage**
: We could not create the service your plan includes, and the line under the title says why ([Troubleshooting](/docs/billing/included-services/#troubleshooting)).

`The verification check did not pass. Complete it and try again.`
: The check expired or failed. Complete it again, then select the button again.
