# The Free plan

> What the Free account plan gives every Coritan account at no charge, what you pay for on it, and when an account returns to it.

Every Coritan account starts on the Free plan. It costs nothing, needs no payment method and has no end date. Until [account plans open on your account](/docs/billing/account-plans/#plans-open-in-stages), its limits do not refuse anything.

## What the Free plan includes

- 3 websites. Each DNS zone is a website, and so is each web proxy for a hostname outside your zones.
- 1 load balancer.
- One person on the account: you.
- A Mail Hosting service with 5 mailboxes of 1 GB each, on 1 domain.
- An SMTP Relay service that sends 3,000 emails a month and then stops until the 1st of the next month ([The monthly allowance](/docs/mail/smtp-relay/sending-limits/#the-monthly-allowance)).
- An Object Storage service with 10 GB.

## What you pay for on the Free plan

You order servers, instances, apps, Floating IPs, DDoS Shield profiles, domains and the rest of the catalogue as services of their own, and pay for each one, on Free as on the paid plans. coritan.com has no free server of any kind.

## When an account returns to Free

- A paid plan you cancelled reaches the end of the period you paid for.
- You cancel a paid plan that is suspended for an unpaid invoice. It ends at once.
- Your free trial runs out, or you end it.

While a paid plan is suspended for an unpaid invoice, the account also has the Free plan's limits, until you pay the invoice.

Coritan deletes nothing when an account returns to Free. What is above the Free plan's limits keeps working, and you cannot add more of it ([Moving to a smaller plan](/docs/billing/account-plans/#moving-to-a-smaller-plan)).
